Trying to catch the Devil's herd, across these endless skies
So driving to work today, I felt like dying. I did not sleep well and possibly got three hours of accumulated rest. It sucked. Then I turned on 89x and caught the live interview with the beastie boys about the dvd that came out today. I was at peace with the world once again. That was by far the funniest phone interview I have ever heard, those guys are insane. (in a funny-good way)
also I was just working with a customer, looking for a coax adapter. He explained to me what he wanted the adapter to do, go from a male twist type F connector and make it male push on F connector. Easy fix and I show him the adapter.
"no that's not it, I need it to be female to female."
I tried to explain it to him and he wasn't hearing it. So we go through four other adapters that I knew were not it. Then I show him the first one I handed hime again.
"hey how about this one, does this look like it will work?"
"Yeah! that's it. where was it?"
jesus.
I was going to let it go to, I rang him up and wished him well. Halfway out the door he stops and turns around.
"this was the first thing you showed me wasn't it?"
"yeah."
"aw man, I feel like a tool now. Sorry bro"
At least he was man enough to admit it.
So I've noticed that I'm not the only one who just doesn't use LJ that much anymore. I used to be able to check my friends page three times a day and find like eighty fucking posts. Now I can check it once a week and fid the same shit on there.
Not complaining, just observing.
