My favorite scene at RS today-
Matt- well ma'am it appears that it is not the battery that is wron with the cordless phone, it's a handset malfunction, here's a new handset.
Lady- great, nhow what about all the numbers that I had saved on that thing?
Matt- well, unfortunatly they are gone now.
Lady- What do you mean they are gone?!
Matt- see, the battery is what powers the memory function. When you removed the battery from the phone you removed the numbers from it's memory.
Lady- Fine, then I want my old battery back!
Matt- I don't understand ma'am. why would you want a used battery in a new phone?
Lady- Because that battery has my numbers in it damnit!
please note this lady was completely serious. She actually thought the phone somehow saved memory into the fucking battery! I swear the characters we get in our store dumbfound even me.
