this new music is heavily influenced by dead can dance and this mortal coil, continuing in the same vein as empyrean with droning ambient atmosperes and retro beats except with a more eastern/worldfusion vibe mixed throughout, though the overall sound is closer to somethinh ike massive attack meets frontline assembly meets chemical brothers.
