I looked at TerraPass, and ended up doing DriveNeutral ( http://www.driveneutral.org/ ) instead. The two are similar in that they offset your car's emissions in some way, but TerraPass does it by funding alternative energy (a great and worhtwhile long term solution, but not necessarily oz for oz equivalent) while Drive Neutral does it by buying up emissions credits so that big companies can't buy them to pollute on (a more immediate and one-to-one correlation). However, were I to have the bucks to offset my *home* use (even more than I already do by buying green power blocks, a nice new thing here in NC), I'd probably look at Native Wind ( http://www.nativewind.org/index.html ), which is closer to TerraPass. *shrug* all good ideas. Do whatever seems best - but do it! :-)
