"...he knew the moment he saw her he would follow her to the end of the world. But he didn't have to, because she followed him."

Those are some of the romantic words I've ever read.

I'm with you - these are the only six episodes I've ever seen of Desperate Housewives. Well, not so much watched, as fast-forwarded thru until I got to scenes with Patrick Logan, then fast-forward again to the next, etc.

Question: at the instant he realizes that the bomb is actually in his hand and has been activated, there is still time for him to throw it out the window - the window is down - and then duck.

Yes, saying "you bitch" with that look of half admiration and half hate in his eyes and then getting whoosh-bang blown up was a lovely and dramatic way to make an exit, but come one!!!! From what little I actually of the show itself, it needs a true bad guy, not just a bunch of bitches behaving badly.

However, John was just smashing!!!!!

Agree, agree, totally agree. His story was completely rushed, but I'm glad I got to see him on television instead of having to wait for his British shows to come online.

In reply to your question:

I think he was kinda proud of her for having the skills/brains/guts to blow him up like that. And honestly, I think he would rather die than have to really leave her and his son for good. If you think about it, the last 18/whatever years of his life have been about finding them - I don't think he would have given up so easily.

(And big bads just don't seem to work on this show - lots of little bads do).

Thanks so much! Yeah, I wrote this directly after watching that episode, didn't want to loose any of the feeling. It was different, watching him die for real. ^_^

Oh. That's sad. Well, I could maybe put a post saying my friend wrote something? I might ask iceshade if that's okay before I do it though...
