Blah blah...

Not a lot happening of late. I feel very boring.

Still no new PC as the *right* part hasn't been received from the PC company. We have managed to get a second hand audio card for the OH's computer so at least we have sound. (Sorry kezya no more RoS vids until the new PC is up and running and I have all my software back in place ;) )

singers and wannabes everywhere are gearing up for Eurovision. I have a friend in the know who loves ESC and got me into it last year. Lordi, the Finnish band that I loved from the first time I saw them, went on to an overwhelming win and converted me ;). It can be cheesy at times, but some countries take this seriously and produce really good entries. (and some enter the daftest stuff you've ever imagined!)

I have decided to inflict this on you all in case you heard it already and blocked it from your memory by accident *evil grin* ;

Yes folks, this is the UK entry, Scooch - Carry On Hostess Flying The Flag (For You), chosen by phone vote, by members of our country. I hate it on so many levels. Not least the jingoistic flag waving aspect given what the UK has been responsible for on the world stage in recent years (not to mention generally over the last few centuries). Brian Harvey entered a number, Big Brovaz competed, even Justin from The Darkness squealed his way through a tune on Making Your Mind up. Yet, we chose this. Last year it was school girls cavorting around an aging rapper, this year we do blantant innuendo of a style that went out with Benny Hill. Can't we just take a serious stab at ESC, just once?? *head desk*

Nil Point.

And Terry Wogan is an arse.

This is the country I pulled in the sweepstake my friend is running; Hungary and The Unsubstantial Blues. I rather like it :)
