That's me all NaNoed out. Roll on next November! Thoroughly enjoyable up and down experience that I recommend to anyone who thinks they might have a novel in them :)

I learnt that;

1. I can get an awful lot of writing done when I put my mind to it.

2. Not to quit because I have a day (or two, or three) when I think what I am writing is utter balderdash. I had at least one day a week when I felt rubbish about the whole thing during NaNo. But I was determined to get to 50 thou. So I pushed on regardless and learnt that I soon got back into the good feeling again.

3. A thousand words is not as much as it sounds. Even if you're just typing 50 or 100 words now and then it soon adds up.

4. The creative process sometimes works best on the fly.

5. When your characters start telling YOU the story you've hit the jackpot.

Well done to everyone who took part in NaNo. Hope to see you all again next year!
