Thank you Laptop
So I should be really happy that my laptop lasted me as long as it did. I mean, it is over 3 years old. I think that is a long time for a laptop. It helped me graduate from college, entertained me in my boredom, survived the screen stomping of 2007, survived the keyboard replacement of 2008 (my 'a' key decided to jump ship).
But the latest incident happened in Feb 2008. I had a USB key in my drive, my bf tripped over the cord and my laptop went smashing to the floor impailing the USB key into the drive. Once removing the key, the drive became permanently lodged inside my computer. In addition to lacking one USB drive, the USB key took out, my wireless and my sound. I think it -may- have even infected the fan. When I tilt my laptop a certain way it sounds like my fan is clipping some circuit boards or something.
So thank you laptop for all your hard word in educating and entertaining me. I hope you get better but, there is only so much that one machine can survive. With me being accident prone, your lifespan may be coming up short. I will keep you until you die. Althou my 5 year old desktop may have to pick up the slack where you lack in sound. I am sorry. Those are the breaks.
