Savage Worlds about 5 years ago. The author ran the included adventure and describes their experiences, and does a good job of explaining its mechanical pros and cons.
Though he didn't suggest it, I think one could avoid some of the problems with fighting "boss" creatures by reducing their toughness and giving them twice as many Wounds (for a total of 6) with the stipulation that they only suffer a -1 penalty for every 2 Wounds received (instead of every 1).
Also, my statistical sampling over the last two days suggests that I am in possession of enough chocolate fondue to keep me edgy and caffeinated for at least a month.
