The Title Goes Here, To Explain The Content Of The Post

We buried Rocky a few hours ago.

Ed wasn't home at the time, so he broke out the akpeteshie and the three of us just poured a little over his grave and raised a toast.

Five minutes later I could feel my eyeballs dehydrating, so I had some dinner.

real life, rocky

Thanks. It's nice to see your face and hear your voice, even if it's only in my head.

I keep imagining you trying to study while those two kids practiced juggling. It makes me smile, even though being older, more responsible, and overworked is a very mixed blessing.

Uh, disregard the second half of that comment (unless masui drops by, in which case you can point it at her). I seem to have brainwandered in the middle, and now I feel silly and sheepish. So I'm just going to squeeze you back with a big woolly grin and crawl into bed until morning.

***squeeze***

Thanks, B. I'll sleep the better for it.

Thanks :-)
That was great.

ROF[X] is clearly an underexploited intensifier. I would like to see it more broadly misapplied. Perhaps:

ROFS - Rolling on floor, sewing.
ROFD - Rolling on floor, drunk.
ROFM - Rolling on floor, meditating.
ROFD - Rolling on floor, flossing.

Or perhaps in conversation, such as, "I'm tired. I've been rolling on the floor driving all the way back from Florida."
