I didn't get to meet my instructor today. I guess, seeing how I hadn't replied to his e-mail yesterday, he decided I wasn't coming :-/
So now am trying to contact him again.
I think I should get myself to stay from spending money on books, CDs and movies for at least a month. *sigh* I'm terrible with money. Went to buy "Ada" and also got Motorcycle Diaries, Match Point (both movies were very cheap though) and - yay - Jean d'Arras' "Melusine ou La Noble Histoire de Lusignan". Original 14th century French and modern translation, all sorts of commentaries. Yay for the bizarre choice of French books in Estonian bookshops and their low price. This book looks as if it had been taken out of a library or someone's personal collection: a 2003 Livre de Poche edition (Lettres Gothiques, yes, my precious) but looks very much read and worn-out.
And I liked Motorcycle Diaries. Even though I'm not at all wild about Che Guevara. But it's very beautifully made and the actors are good *runs off to look at Gael Garcia Bernal once more* ♥
