Dear Mind,
Your body is addicted to caffeine. We know this for a fact and even though you may feel awake, by skipping your morning coffee you are being chemically neglectful of your body. It's like a dam in your blood vessels. Coffee as a brick wall, holding back the deluge of normal blood supply*. When you don't reinforce it, the "water" bursts through, gushing all over the place, and you get pounding pressure coursing through the grey matter. It's easy to prevent and not much harder to relieve, however pain hurts. Fucking knock it off!
Much love,
Your In Pain Brain
*Caffeine is a vasoconstrictor (makes blood vessels smaller), and steals the receptor site of adenosine (a vasodilator) when able. If caffeine isn't there, adenosine makes blood vessels wider to allow more blood flow, hence the pounding headache.
i'm smrat,
science!,
give me coffee or give me death
