Spare The Rod (Stewart), Use Barry Instead
I am laughing that some judge decided to kick it on some noisy teenagers who were charged with disruptive noise- where it hurts-their ears. Their punishment? Having to listen to Barry Manilow. Now granted this is a punishment one would expect from a Zucker and Zucker film, however this is actually true.
I am patiently waiting for some bleeding heart group to cry out that this is cruel and unusual punishment.
Note: I actually admit I love some Manilow stuff, “Time In New England” is a favorite. However I grew up with this, imagine the impact he will have on teenagers from today. Especially if they play his 80’s Covers music.
