OMG I did what?!?!
So, I took out my entire Sims 2 folder. Yeah, everything. Not because there was anything wrong really either. No, I just wanted it to respawn all the 'hoods so I could package up some of my favorite houses for my new not-quite-megahood. Ya'what? Right? Okay, I've been working on this new hood Vintswood, this time not a renamed Pleasantview, but a hood in its own right. But with all the megahood premade sims. So I wanted some of their houses. Like the Pleasants. Did you know I couldn't find a download of their house anywhere? I found at least two downloadable remakes of the Goth house.
So I took out my entire Sims folder so it would respawn them. It did a halfassed job though. I got BDC, DV, and RBH -- with sims. Then I got PV, with no sims. And no ST or VV at all. What's going on game?
And since I'm at it and I have one more day off I figured I might attempt (again) to rearrange/reorganize my downloads folder. And I think I want to start over with a bunch of my content. (O.O!) ... yes, that's me bugging out. But I'm just so frustrated with my 7 gig folder and the loading times are harsh. So I figured I could start a new, but how? where? I've got so many hairs that I don't want to loose. Yes, that's my biggest thing. I'll miss my hairs the most. But guess what I found and had not known about before? maxismatchhairs ! This is like so wonderful. Even if it's not all of them, it's a great many hairs and they are all Maxis Match! Which is what I want to start moving towards.
