Welcome to Egypt
I got to Egypt safely about 7 or so hours ago. We checked into the hotel, had a little meeting where we got some egyptian pounds, then went to dinner at an egyptian restaurant - no idea what most of what i ate was, as the prof who speaks arabic ordered for everyone, but there was a ground beef and egg thing to dip bread in, along with several other bread dips and topings, and some lamb as the main course. we then walked over to the Nile, doing a little sight seeing, and then he showed us where this internet cafe is. I'm pretty tired - didnt get much sleep on the first flight, although i slept through most of the second (shorter) flight. I'm just going back to the hotel to crash now.
