Weekend of SIN
Friday night I went to see Sin City with Jess and Matthew and Heidi and Adrian and a bunch of people who's names I cant remember, it was VERY VERY good and we had lots of fun, I had a mini freak out because I thought my car had been stolen but we had gone down one floor too many and I was pleased to find my car still in the actual spot I left it in.
Saturday I went and hung out with Derek and Ash in the afternoon and we got our costumes ready for Sin City the club, I ended up dressing in Derek's garb and I painted on a mustache and beard.
We met up with Jess, Matthew, Janice, Heidi, Adrian, John and Sara and all went for sushi before making our way down to the club (we arrived REALLY early) and then wandered over to the Irish Heather for a few drinks, we got a lot of stares...it was amusing.
I saw lots of people I knew at the club and it was dandy, drank a bunch, danced a bunch (my legs were a tad sore after), flirted and chatted with all sorts of people. Jess took me down to the dungeon for a look around, it wasnt terribly exciting down there, and I didnt get put on a rack spanked...this time.
I was told that I make a very cute boy and that I need to make a set of mens garb for the SCA, by the end of the night my beard and mustache had melted off..it was good times.
Sunday I slept in very late and then took Derek to see Sin City (the movie, he didnt come with us on friday night and I was more then willing to see it again.
I enjoyed it the second time just as much as the first.
I did let myself get unhappy about some things this weekend, I tried to just enjoy myself and not think about them but sometimes I'd get all bummed anyway.
I'm much too emotional, I've been told that its good that I'm not jaded and I can cry and such, but I think it would be so much easier, much less painful if I was jaded.
I feel better a lot better now, talking to people and being blunt and honest is such a wonderful thing.
Yesterday I had went for a lovely long walk, had some sushi and watched some tv and then The Manchurian Candidate.
