After three years of art school aiming for this goal of Graphic Design I found out that the jobs available are not what you would call Mon-Fri 9-5 type jobs. You end up working on contracts mostly and they can be cancelled before the project is finished. My sister did the course at VCC and is now working in an insurance company. I know a few people who make money off of it but they are way better than me and my sister. You might want to take a look into what type of job you want and how practical that is to your personal goals like job security and a life outside of work. 17 hour days for three weeks straight can suck and then no contract for a couple of weeks makes it hard to pay rent on time. But that is just my opinion.

I know where to find some suppliers, can drum up various things.. (dunno what yet) and have some experience in online store... (not mine, a friend's. Actually that's how that person and I became friends *g*)

Also can provide webspace and tools and stuff.

It's a thought to consider - definately - but I was thinking more physical. Like .. an actual Store. I'll have to think on this.

Physical stores good.
to explain (now that I'm awake) what I offered:
- It might be old info but I could possibly pick up info on suppliers. But the best advice I heard was - check how good companies are at delivering. Pick local over distant. Some of the groups with the nicest stuff are VERRRY flakey and unreliable *grrr*. Definitely do ground research...
- webspace stuff 'cause online presence nice to go with storefront. Not truely necessary, just nice.

store sign could have a "rooster, rampant" on it...
