We are so amused!
The below story appeared in last week's Times Higher (weekly magazine for Higher Education) regarding etiquette in Higher Education:

What amuses me and my colleagues about this even more is the fact that this guy is our former Vice-Chancellor!! He was indeed known for wearing white or blue shirts with "amusing" ties!!! And several of the names jumping to the defence are former colleagues of ours who followed him to his new institution.
And what scares us is that we can really see our current VC reading this and thinking "hmmm what a jolly good idea"!!!!!!!
This has just livened up a very dreary Tuesday afternoon!!
