Sammy's here!
I finished my Sam Winchester plushie. \O/
He's wearing what hells-half-acre calls, in her awesome "If Clothes Could Talk Project", Sam's Superhero Hoodie. You can see the details of the jacket here.
The zipper actually works but unfortunately Sam's head is too big so the hood doesn't actually fit him. :)
Once again, I struggled with the hair. I wish I'd figured out how to make his sideburns part of his hair and not extra bits. Sam's hair is probably based closest on Season 5 hair, even though his clothing is more like what he would have worn in the early seasons. In the later seasons Sam has tended to favour patterned shirts but I don't have any patterned felt and I can't find any which is suitable. If he wore shirts with polka dots or zebra prints, I'd have it covered, but checkered/plaid felt continues to elude me.
Sammy midriff! \O/ Sam's the largest plushie I've made and even though I increased the size of the clothing patterns I'd used for other plushies by what I thought was the correct percentage, his top and jeans are a little too short for him. Never mind, it makes him look tall like real Sam.

Sam, Dean, & Castiel. Dean is made to what I've come to call the 100% pattern. It's for people around the 6ft mark. Castiel was made using a pattern 5% smaller (95%) and Sam was made using a pattern 5% bigger (105%). It's beginning to look like perhaps I've increased/decreased the sizes too much but we'll see. Sam is 6.5", Dean is 6" and Cas is 5.5".
Bonus Pics! Dean wearing Sam's hoodie because he's sick and wants to feel all snug. (It's not actually the charcoal hoodie Dean wore during 'Faith' but it does belong to Sam - Check out hells-half-acre's post about Dean wearing Sam's hoodie here.
