Contrary to the evidence on hand, rumours that Timothy Hutton from Leverage is taking over the role of Sam Winchester on Supernatural next season have been highly exaggerated and completely made up. By me.

LOL! You're awesome. Yay for any and all references to Leverage! I think the boys should guest star during the hiatus. They can play Sam and Dean Winchester, but on Leverage they would be con men, pretending to be hunters. And let's throw Misha in for good measure.

When Misha, Jensen and Jared drive up in convoy from LA to Vancouver for the start of S5 they could easily stop in at Portland. It's on they way. It could totally work. ::nods::

Perhaps we'll discover Sam is part of the 'Evil Trio of Triplets!' and they're played by Jared, Timothy, and Tom! (I'm sure the use of either the word trio or triplet is redundant here.)

Timothy is either going for the role or he's totally a Supernatural fanboy. I'm thinking the latter. Christian made him watch SPN while they were filming first season of Leverage. He strarted off complaining but he soon became addicted and now he's forever hassling Christian for Jensen and Jared's autographs. ::nods::

Yes!!! Why didn't I think of that. Not sure how they will explain how Sam shrunk 3 inches. I guess they could just pick someone 3 inches shorter than Jensen to play old!dean and it'd all be good. :)
