In what might be described as a rather controversial turn of events, I'm not updating to procrastinate from tidying my room! I had a to-do-list for today, tidying my room was on it and it was one of the things that got done! In fact, everything on the to-do-list got done except for...doing my reading. Doh. So I'm going to spend my Friday night doing my reading. Mostly, because I can't see when else I'm going to fit it in! I've got 13 hours of work planned for Saturday and Sunday (my resolve to not work Sunday's lasted all of a week...it's complicated but I am going to fit in going to church somehow) so some reading needs to get done. On the plus side, I did renew my library books so I have till Thursday so I have got a while! On the downside, I ordered a text book from Amazon which hasn't made it here yet so probably won't get here till Thursday...silly postal strike.
So what have I been up to since I last updated...I suppose the most exciting thing would be going up to Keele :D it was veeeerrryyyy strange being back but it was good to see everyone :) I finally managed to pay my fees (well, kind of, the loan agreement forms are in the post so it might be a while before they make it to the coop bank lol), and after all that trouble I was having, I bought 2 bags lol. Next on my shopping list is a coat, a scarf and then gloves. After that, I'm officially back to being a student and not buying lots of things!!!
I had a tres stressful day in work on tuesday - I had to start at 7am (that involved getting a taxi to work lol) and then to make my day perfect, just as the lunch rush was starting, Maria walked in. Kevin and I turned to each other and shared a look of panic! We did manage to pass our evaluation, but only just - and Ari sent me to Starbucks to buy everyone coffee to bribe Maria lol! I'm very much looking forward to working tomorrow...hehe.
Anyways, I need to go and write a shopping list so I'm going to pootle off and avoid my reading some more!
Love you all lots :)
