i feel badly for everyone who has undergone hurricane katrina. i can really sympathize, as i underwent hurricane andrew which was just as bad when i was living in miami. i wish people could understand just how terrible it really is...power is out, water is contaminated, homes are unsafe, people are looting, gas stations are closed, power lines are down, curfews are enforced, marshall law is enforced, national guard is patrolling, homes are destroyed, stores are unaccsessable, families are split, people are dead.

why is it so hard to understand just how terrible this situation really is?
