(no subject)
hello. i am sitting in my dorm room all by myself. its rather lonesome. Jen is home. Carina is at her boyfriend's. Rhiannon is a her friend's birthday party. I am sitting under my bead. I rearranged my room today. It's pretty awesome! This weekend has been really lame. since my roommates are not here, i have absolutly nothing to do. Plus, my friends are all home also. Today i did my Chem homework ALL day. I got it finished though!
I have a test on Tuesday on the first 5 chapters. It's going to be really hard. I have to go to study group on monday so that i can learn how to do parts that i dont understand. My proffesor has not taught in like 20 years. He is a terrrible teacher and i hate that class because of it. Im not the only one that doesnt understand it, which makes me feel a little better i guess. My sociology class is super lame also. All we do is disscuss random social things. I dont feel like i ever learn anything in that class. I guess its got something to do with math too, which i didnt know when i signed up for the class. I have 2 professors, so one will be talking about sociology, and the other is like oh, can i add something math related? and then she says something totally off topic. its stupid. I like my other classes mostly though. English is not bad. My professor is pretty cool. My culture and the holocaust class is really cool. i have to somehow rent the movie "MAX" and watch it soon, because i cant watch it at the student center because it is either during class or my study group, which is stupid. My intro to nursing class seems pretty pointless. Right now, we are learning about the history of nursing. why do i need to know that history of nursing? it isnt really relevant. but oh well.
Other than that, college is going good! i like my room mates for the most part. I got really lucky that i got Jen for a room mate! She is really really nice and a great person to be around! If we arent sick of each other by the end of the year, we are going to room together next year! i hope that happens, because i dont want to have to go in blind again. I've made a few pretty good friends. My friend Megan, lives across the hall. she is awesome! she is in 3 of my classes. Rachel, Erin, and Kim are pretty awesome too!
I just got a job this last week. I work at The Center for Student Involvement at the information desk. I answer phone calls, give people directions places, unlock doors for the Student Orgs, and other random things. In other words, i basically just sit there and talk to the other desk person. I like it alot so far. It's very laid back. I work only like 7 or so hours a week, but thats ok. I have work study, and that is all that i can work. I like that i only work that much though, because it gives me time to do my homework and other things.
Well, i guess i have written enough for tonight. You all should call me to talk. I havent talked to alot of you in awhile. Yeah. Goodnight everyone!
