R.I.P. Jim Henson
Today is the 16th anniversary of Jim Henson`s death
As far as I am concerned the man was a creative genius
Children`s programming has never and will never be the same
In fact I bet he is rolling in his grave at some of the stuff out there these days
There was so much depth to the humour in his creations and yet it could be taken on so many levels
He died suddenly and long before he should have
It makes me wonder what the world would be like if he were still alive
Im glad my childhood was influenced by Jim Henson and his muppets and I hope I can pass some of it on to my children
also...i read somewhere today that the muhnamena song/skit (or whatever its called) was based on a song Jim heard on a swedish porn....i thought that was pretty funny
