So my mom called me yesterday and apparently she's been trying to get a hold of me for the past few days. She had the most depressing news i've heard in a very long time. She always goes to this restaurant called Peaches. It's a little breakfast/lunch kind of hole in the wall place where everyone knows each other like Cheers. Well a few days ago, there had been a shooting just outside. This man walked in the restaurant and he was the manager's boyfriend. He was mad at her for something that I don't know. He dragged her outside and then shot her. 7 times. The police were contacted and they even caught up and found the guy, but when they did, the man shot himself. It just made me think about life and such because I knew her and the restaurant. I'm just shocked that this happened.
