Today I got two dwarf hamsters and they are adorable! My friend couldn't really take care of them anymore so she gave them to me. I still have yet to name them but I will probably have that figured out in the next hour

Hamsters are solitary animals. If you get 2 together of the same sex they will fight and kill eachother, and even if they're opposite sex unless it's sex that's going on there's still problems. Unless they came from the same litter/brood/whatever. That's why I got gerbils. Very sociable.

These hamsters have been living together for a long time. So they get along fine :) They are happy hamsters! If it weren't for the freeness value, I would've just bought one. I used to own hamsters and mice when I was younger, but I appreciate the advice!

Besides, ya can't beat a free gift. I got tons of hookups that probably total close to a 100 dollars worth of items.
