Appreciation of Nature

Okay, so I forgot to update this yesterday but I'll do it today, instead.

Yesterday was pretty interesting at work. My CD player's batteries went dead and I didn't have replacements so I worked around the property (I garden) watching everything. I saw two bugs mating which was interesting. I didn't see the start but I saw the male or female on top of the other bug and then they split off and went into different directions. It was intruiging. Also, I thought a bee had died on a flower but it turned out he was just chilling there for whatever reason. Also, at one point, I saw him grooming himself. It was so cute. By the way, this was one of those cute big bumble bees that you learn about as a child. I wanted to take a pic with my camera phone but I really didn't want to make all the bees mad if they heard some weird clicking noise of a camera. I felt pretty brave with bees buzzing all around me yesterday. Part of the advantage of working in the morning is that you don't have to deal with all the incests until an hour or two into your shift. Or, whatever I chose to work is probably the better choice since I have the advantage of working whenever I feel like it.

Also, weirdest thing happened. My mom and I were in the house discussion something and suddenly she goes "What the heck?" and runs to the doorwall and opens it up. Apparently three boys decided it would be fun playing tag through people's backyards. My mom was so in shock and the boys were going to try to make a run through her garden to go to the next place. She was like "You are not going through my garden" I was so pissed off but the boys seemed pretty intimidated by my mom and probably also by my staring at them while my mom was talking. As soon as my mom showed them to the gate, they darted off pretty quickly. Later on though, my parents and I were coming home from shopping at IKEA and dinner, we saw three boys being talked to by the police and my mom and I both checked to see if it was the boys from earlier. The new boys were older though so it definitely wasn't them.

I'm getting so anxious now. I call on Monday to find out for sure when I can start moving my stuff into my apartment. And then it's like 2 1/2 weeks before the semester starts. The one thing I'm thankful for in this move is that I haven't had to ask anyone to help me move. My friends have all volunteered. Also, the more I think about it, the more I realize how well in shape I am for this move. The only thing I asked for is to borrow my friend's truck and he said it was stupid for me to even have to ask for permission because he would've let me used it. Ya gotta love my friends.

Well, I guess that's it. Catch ya later!
