The human had a radio show called "The Gestalt Gardener"( check it out at http://www.mpbonline.org/radio/programs/GestaltGardener/index.htm) playing while she cleaned house yesterday. One segment of it mentioned an informal study that found that long-lived people tend to be gardeners. The host encourage everyone to go out an get their hands in the dirt. Well, I don't have hands, but I (as well as GretaCat and Smiley Dog and Big Blonde) have been having fun getting my paws in the dirt all summer. We especially like all that new dirt the human bought about a month ago - the stuff that she put all the new plants into. Here's a photo showing how GretaCat and I have benefitted those plants through our gardening efforts:
