YAY!! For compression socks and back pain...
Wait??? You mean compression socks and back pain are NOT a good thing?????
So, yeah, I have a dignoses for my sexy dizzy/lightheaded/fainting spells. I went to my cardiologist today and he told me I have something called, Neurocardiogenic Syncope. Big ten-dollar word I know. It basically means that my heart and my brain had a fight and now they are not talking to eachother very well. My brain isn't telling my heart that I need more blood into the right side of my heart to keep the pump going, so I have issues getting enough blood there. Without blood to the right side of the heart, no blood can get put back into the body. So, yeah that sucks. LOL.
So for at lease three months, I wear what is called Tom hose, or basicallys compression socks. They are really really tight sockings that go up to my knees, and improve circlution to my heart or something. They are, quite frankly, horrible. I walk funny in them, lol. Next, I have been put on a very small dose of beta blockers to help. I will be on thouse for at lease a year or two. Finally, He doubled my salt pills to twice a day. Which should be fun.
Its more a pain in the ass then anything else, but at lease I know now. It is nice to actually be able to put a name to it.
