Yee-haw!
I just scored my first paid speaking engagement. I'll be at Earlham College for Religious Emphasis Week in February 2005 doing a lecture, workshop, and hosting some open discussion sessions.
In other news, yesterday I got the fastest reply from a letter (well, email) to an author ever. It was under 18 hours! Julie Peters was very pleased with what I had to say about her new book Luna. I was very pleased with what she had to say about my writing. When Luna comes out in May, it's well worth your money to buy a copy, read it, and pass it on to your favorite liberal and/or queer teen or adult.
Less thrillingly, my sinuses are draining after two weeks of being damnably dammed up. I'm sure I will be more excited about this when the drainage ceases and I revert to my usual unfroggy, unsoggy self.
