this thing is fucked up
so i'm doing hooomework now. it's quite exciting. and therefore i need some form of distraction. actually there are like 4798573 of those here. i can wander to the bathroom in either direction (the hallway is like a square and my room is on exactly the opposite side from the bathroom so it's a long walk and i'm bound to find someone with their door open who i want to talk to) or go to the common room where people have been playing super smash bros for the past many hours. or i could do this. i read the first 3 books of the iliad that took me a long time because i don't know how to read and understanding homer is annoying. like you have to figure out who everyone and their mother is before it makes sense. and now i'm reading chem. it's quite fascinating. haha. next i must do some math or maybe just look over the textbook. and then i'm going swimming with ginny. so that's pretty much my life.
yesterday my roommate and i were talking about our room and she said something about how her shelf was practically full and she had too many books and then she was like "well, i could put some on top of the complete works of shakespeare" and then i started cracking up. i thought it was the funniest thing ever. and then i looked and saw that she actually has an enormously large ass book. the complete works. and then i was wondering if she had to do some shakespeare reading for a class would she buy a small version of just that book or would she bring the entire larger-than-the-bible sized mother to class. and i tried to ask her but i was just laughing so hard. it was the type of thing that erica would laugh at i think. she just thought that i was crazy. and did not understand what was funny. neither did i really. nothing was funny. life is fun.
