whee! i need better subject lines!!!
ok, so i tried to hurry my sister and her friend to get us to the club as early as possible. she was all like 'we're 45 minutes early, that's too early.' um, no. there was all ready a big line of people waiting to get in. and most of them were high schoolers.
so after standing in line outside forever, we went to the back of the club where the bar and tables were. someone opened up, but i never heard a name and didn't recognize anyone. we're sitting, chatting and then gavin comes on. eee! but we were so far back, cause all the high schoolers have been standing up next to the stage. and my sister is 6 months pregnant, so that's why we sat for the beginning of the show. gavin did a lot of good songs, but no one really knew who he was. I did, cause of lauren glitterglamgirl!!! and then towards the end of his set he did 'let's get it on' i think by marvin gaye and it was so good and funny! i heart gavin, but i can't listen to him, cause i loaned his cd to my hair stylist!!! :(
maroon 5 comes on about half hour later. by this time, my sister has manuevered us up closer, maybe 10-15 feet away from the stage. lots and lots of high schoolers!!! anyway, they rocked so much. i love the way they did 'she will be loved' live!! i so need a live cd of them! adam said 'motha fucka' alot, and of course, the high schoolers screamed. and he had a really short hair cut, almost a buzz, going on. kinda like randy harrison does right now! *sniffle*
no hanging out after the show, cause my sister was wiped out and had to work today. but there will be a next time...
