ok, so homework has gotten in the way of computer time. isn't that just perfect? i'm still working on the digital camera set up. pictures!!! wheeee!
and here's my trip in a nutshell. then i will resume my journal reading!
left for seattle march 8. shop until the following thursday. shop, shop, shop. ate at the cheesecake factory saturday and sunday. spinach and artichoke dip, yummmmm!!! in my aunt's own words "this is not a shopping trip" hello, we went to the mall the very afternoon i arrived. got some cool clothes. will have to wear and post pics.
left for hawaii early thursday, it's like a 5 1/2 hour trip. harry potter's second movie was the inflight movie. didn't watch it. listened to my cd player instead and read. (screening party kicks ass!!! read it!!!) get to honolulu and then jump on another plane to the island of kauai or something like that. stayed at the hyatt regency where more shopping commenced. rode in a helicopter on sunday, for an hour, it rocked. saw the water falls from jurassic park and the beaches where six days, seven nights was filmed. monday, chilled and went to awards banquet with my aunt, where she received an award (the whole point of the trip was her business had this awards and meetings). oh, and i laid around the pool alot too! our hotel had 5 pools!!! tuesday and wednesday, lots of laying around, relaxing, and shopping. thursday went 4-wheeling around the island. went through the road made through a mountain way back with dynamite. friday went on a breakfast horseback ride. ate and rode at the beach. kicked all kinds of ass! then we went to a luau that night and because it was windy, they held in the ballroom. and that sucked such major ass. saturday went to airport and proceeded to make my way home, finally getting to kansas city sunday morning. and that was hell. missouri sucks.
