A fic ate me. I wrote a Batman/TRON crossover, and I think it's going to become the next Time and Space in terms of the crossover that wouldn't die. Also in terms of they don't all fit together? Because I wrote a drabbly thing where Bruce discovers what happened to Dick and Damian, but now I have new plans for that and it will be glorious.
Rewatched an episode of Young Justice yesterday, Homefront, and uggh show I love you, but I hate that you have no strong female characters. At least I have Batman Beyond to console me, which is like the greatest thing ever. Maxine's amazing. I love how they went the route of her figuring out Terry was Batman on her own, instead of Terry being forced to tell her in order to dissuade her of the idea that he's a gang member. It seemed small and obvious at the time, but upon reflection I realize that it would've been so easy to go the other way. Also, suspicious Barbara is judging your life choices so hard, Terry. She kicks ass better than you do too.
Also, unexpectedly traveling? Second-choice college of awesome has officially accepted me, so I will be going down south in early February to visit the campus. Dad's going to Texas for work, and after that he's going to check in with my grandmother, and then I am going to fly down on my own and we are going to meet at the campus. Should be fun.
Mom is still insistent that I apply to a local college. Do Not Want. I am what you know/who who knowing this, and I need to get out of here. Because I have crazy-ass delusions of changing the world through film? Yeah, something like that. I am going to single-handedly put an end to the "stupid bros do stupid shit" genre, and cast normal-looking women as my totally badass protagonists. And it will all be philosophical and meaningful and people will go around saying, "Man, that shit was deep."
I know I really should be caring that I rocked the state scholarship qualifications, but I don't. I'm young, I'm allowed to make bad life choices.
