Still don't have a proper job, but I've been keeping a little bit busy. I've been scanning old photos from the '50s mostly and numbering them so the people can be identified. I have been seeing lots of suspenders, but no bowties, though there was a kid with a monogrammed tie. Other common fashion choices are plaid shirts and longish skirts with pockets. I'm really jealous here guys. It's like we discovered modern feminism and suddenly we're not allowed to have pockets in our skirts, or skirts of a length between ankle and knee. I WANT POCKETS DAMMIT. POCKETS ARE A THING I LIKE. THIS WHOLE NO POCKETS IN SKIRTS THING IS STUPID. I would also appreciate skirts that are long enough to cover up my ugly thighs but short enough to not get in the way. So that, you know, when I sit down no one can peek. WE DISCOVERED PANTS BUT FORGOT HOW TO MAKE PRACTICAL SKIRTS. And most of the pants have retarded sized pockets anyway. POCKETS ARE FOR PUTTING THINGS IN, NOT A FASHION ACCESSORY.
Sorry, but these are pretty much all of the reasons I don't wear skirts more often, and it is aggravating. I was going to after frustratingly hunting for pants that fit, but all of that happened and I couldn't find tights anywhere either. It was all kneesocks this, toesocks that. GIVE ME DECENT SKIRTS OR GIVE ME DEATH PANTS THAT FIT. AND POCKETS. ONE THING I FORGOT TO SAY WAS GIVE ME POCKETS.
Anyway. The photos are all school photos, mostly group photos of classes. And after noticing just how many of the kids look vaguely familiar, have come to the conclusion that all kids must look alike. Now I understand why the kids in Sims 3 always look so generic.
