I believe that I have one of the most annoying General Education 2nd semester freshmen classes ever. The teacher is great and he makes you think, but the students talk way too much and about things that make the course fall a little off-topic. One guy said how the "Persuit of Happiness" was about finding happiness to the degree of where it does not interfere with another person's happiness and I proved him wrong by saying how 2 people going after a high-paying job proves it wrong because of where the person who gets the job is preventing the other person from being happy. However, I guess no one listened because they continued to say that it was the main definition.
There is this one girl who seems a little "air-headish" (at this institution? Go figure *rolls eyes*). She has this surfer girl accent too: "You know, it's like...um...whatever that stuff is and it is all, like, England and stuff." It's not exactly a quote, but you get the picture. I shouldn't be so arrogant, but I was rolling my eyes in class and one guy continuously talked and I just wanted to...I wished that he didn't reply every 5 seconds. However, my professor proved me right when I asked him if the Founding Fathers were Free Masons. While the girl I was arguing against is a friend of mine, I do feel a little better knowing that I proved a History major wrong.
It turns out that a person in Forensics is part of the Masons. Though he won't tell me much, I was told that I could find some more information out about it through him. It made me think about how the professor mentioned the "Patriot Act" and how we are supposedly being watched all the time. It makes you think about what you do in your room huh? I wonder if there are any hidden cameras. If the secret societies are watching our every move. If the government is watching our every move. Are we safe anywhere? Is this 1984ish?
I read my health book and it was basically stupid in my opinion. It was about the different types of health and it basically proved my point about psychological health: No one wants to be around depressed people though they need it the most. They want everyone to be happy and if you are not happy then you are anti-social and no one wants anything to do with you. I disagreed with some things that they said in there.
I just found out that tomorrow I have a meeting at 10 p.m. It seems like they ignored my e-mail telling them that I have a 9 p.m. meeting for Fund Raising and that I would rather have it on Sunday. So what if I have to work 6 hours the next day? Let's make her suffer since we don't like her (and they don't like me). However, unless they want to do something against the rules, they can't get rid of me. I was elected to office, and I'm not stepping down. If they try to get rid of me, then I will show them what I can do. I can do a lot when motivated.
I had planned to watch a movie with a friend of mine. Ironically, he called me and asked if we can move the time to 7 since he had a meeting. I was glad that he called because I was going to call him and ask if we could do that thanks to the meeting. I wonder if God or Satan or both are screwing with me. Why would they do this? Is it because they knew that there was a small interest and that I talked myself out of it? I think that they just want to tempt me and mess with me, however, I'm not falling for it. I'm standing strong and not giving in. I know that the friend is just friendly toward everyone and not interested. Besides, he's not really what I am looking for. However, it is going to be odd when I have to sign him in with my ex room mate being the one on duty.
I bought a Superman night shirt last night. I know I probably shouldn't have since it costs $6, but I wanted it so much to represent my "Fortress of Solitude" (I know it's not Superman, but I felt like buying a Superman shirt). I need to make that sign. I also need to read. Sam Huntington is playing as Jimmy Olsen. I might look him up later. I still say that the Jimmy Olsen from "Lois and Clark: The Adventures of Superman" was the best.
Why did Rob Thomas make a solo album? I should spank him for it.
