Yesterday...
...was filled with fluctuations of immense joy, and frequent bouts of mentally emoing out in a corner--but as far as birthdays go, it was amazing.
Nana drove half an hour to school, even though she didn't have class that day. And she even brought rice she molded into onigri herself and even slightly burned her palms in the process. She saved us all from having to share the measly 3 scoops of rice Kels was so generous to pay for along with my cake she delivered. I love them both forever.
Then a very dear friend of mine took the time to spend 2 hours listening to me, laughing with me even though it was already midnight for her when she called. I appreciate it so much, it was a wonderful end to such a long day.
