Inadvisable (Syriana fic, Bryan/Nasir, T-rated)
Yuletide is revealed, and my fic was "Inadvisable" for Syriana. I actually matched on Outlander, but thought it sounded more fun to write for Syriana. (Plus, lazy me figured it was easier to reacquaint myself with a subplot in a film than a whole bunch of books.)
Only downside is that I've so far had eleven readers. This is kind of hilarious. They seem to have LIKED it, though. On the whole, I'd rather have that than the situation where I have 2000 readers and 2 kudos. (This has also happened.)

Summary: Of course Nasir notices right away that the American is handsome, in a puppyish sort of way, but the man’s arrogance and condescension - so like his country itself - are off-putting. It’s only later that the actual attraction starts, and then they’re caught up in personal tragedy and a whirlpool of politics.
