Julen är spännande
I have made a Swedish translation/reinterpretation of Jonathan Coulton’s song Christmas is Interesting.
I started out trying to translate it more literally, but realized that it makes more sense in Swedish with references to more Swedish Christmas traditions. (Or, in the case of Donald Duck and The Little Match Girl, things associated with Christmas in Sweden without actually being Swedish.)
I recorded the song itself years ago and always intended to make a video to match, but then it took years before I actually did.
