So, the more I think about this movie, the more I like it (
I talked some more in Selenak's journal) yet despite having thought for four days straight, I still notice more. This one is so obvious I'm kind of facepalming that I didn't see it sooner.
"How can we tell the bad guys from the good guys?" Sam asks in the trailer, and Cap answers, "If they're shooting at you, they're bad."
So much of the movie is set up about not knowing who to trust, that the people in charge are not on your side...
Yet I didn't even realize that when Cap makes this simple rule of thumb, he has to eat his own words about ten minutes later.
If they're shooting at you, they might be people you're willing to die for.
This movie, you guys. I may need to go back and rewatch tomorrow just to untangle myself - or tangle myself deeper, IDEK.
