I may have to reconcile myself to the fact that I'll never be able to wrap my thoughts about this show into one big "this is what I thought about Haven" post.
Anyway, just rewatching from the start. Which is a perfectly normal thing to do, heck, when I was 12 I re-read The Outsiders minutes after reading it the first time, and clearly I haven't grown since I was twelve. And also, I'm collecting southpaw Duke screencaps, which isn't weird whatsoever. Nuh-uh.
Anyway, I rewatched "Harmony" and paid a little extra attention since it's been one of the eps people suggested
justhuman use to pimp the fandom. (For the record, the ep is pretty good in every way except its take on mental illness, which is kind of iffy.)
And, oh my God. Remember how I said that Duke could have been secretly banging Nathan behind the gym rafters all through high school? (And being an ass to him inbetween so people wouldn't find out.) I just meant that as an illustration to show the weird dynamics between them.
But everything they say to each other in this ep - everything! - can be fit into that hypothesis.
Boys, you need to embrace Audrey and let her lead the way, because she may be the only person who can untangle this childhood mess and take you to the true path of OT3-ness.
