In which OUAT sneak peeks make me happy and fans do not
The latest OUAT sneak peeks are completely wonderful when it comes to making Cora even more of a psychopathic BAMF than she already is. I watched them all and purred like a cat - in addition to awwing over the Rumbelle one, which was so beautiful and selfless it almost makes me ship them again. But mostly, I focused on delicious Slytherin Cora.

Then I read fan reactions, which could mostly be summed up as "EW!" and complaints about how Cora/Rumpelstiltskin stood in the way of Rumbelle. Because clearly, having been in a relationship with someone forty years ago plus curse time completely threatens your current relationship. IDEK.
Then there was the poster who said, "Cora is a monster, and Rum can think he is all he wants, but deep down he knows (as do we) that his shit is just an act."
An act.
Three hundred years of murder, manipulations, and turning people into objects (both literally and figuratively).
An. Act.
It's at times like this that I have to close my eyes and go, "I love Rumpelstiltskin, he's an amazing character, Robert Carlyle is the best actor on the show, and neither one of them is defined by the fans' BLATANT STUPIDITY."
