More fic troubles
Returning to the SPN/JoA crossover (with the circus fic sidelined for a moment), it turns out I need one final piece of research for that one as well.
At least I hope it's the final one, and that the rest will be easier to write.
Pshyeah, right.
Anyway, the question I want to ask my American friends is this: If a person is charged with manslaughter, will there be bail? If so, how soon will there be a bail hearing? If they're not (yet) out on bail, can you come talk to them in custody, and if so, how would that be done?
I miss the good old teen days when I'd just make something up whenever I didn't know the answer to one of these questions. (And when I still watched procedurals on TV that could at least give me some hint.)
