oh, btw...
Thing that shouldn't be done right after re-reading The Neverending Story (for the first time in 20 years, I always did like Momo better): watching the Nostalgia Critic review of the film. Especially since the Nostalgia Critic had been replaced with Chester A. Bum for the review and his rambles included a line about how Fuchur "kinda looks like a giant tampon."
OK I WILL NOW NEVER BE ABLE TO TAKE THIS BOOK SERIOUSLY EVER AGAIN. Which is unfair, because I haven't even seen the film, and Michael Ende apparently hated it anyway, and Noah Hathaway isn't even green, so it's a bad association to have for a pretty good book.
But still. Psychic turtle wins over giant tampon any day of the week.
(Turtle or tortoise? I've never been able to learn which is which in English. I blame the TMNT. In Swedish we say sköldpadda for all of them and add land- or havs- if needed. *checks* Apparently, she's a tortoise.)
To sway your opinion on this, baby tortoise. Also Cassiopeia geocaching!
