I just found my Holmes AU in a delicious list with the note, "Please beg author to continue!" Heh. No wonder that "complete" tag on ff.net is doing me no good at all. I've never had so many pleas to continue a fic! *am pleased and kind of exasperated at once*
Not that I couldn't. I could write the next scene tomorrow, if I wasn't busy with other stuff. Trouble is, if I do continue, every new chapter would most likely be less self-contained than the one before, meaning I'd have to find some damn direction for the thing. WiPs is not my forte - the Birthdayverse is the only story I've ever written that didn't have a definite ending, and even there I've had plans ranging much longer than to the next chapter. This? No clue.
Besides, I have enough trouble with the story I am writing. Why oh why did I choose first person? *g*
