I love those books! (of course they are translated into Norwegian) Actually I love the radio-play - did they make a radio-play of it in Sweden too? But they are great books, and as you say faithful to the Greek originals. Last time I read them was before my Greek religion-exam in '96 :)
East of Eden is one of my favourite books, although I have never gotten around to see the film yet.

As I understand it, there was a radio play before there were any books, but I might be mistaken about that.
East of Eden is one of my favourite books, although I have never gotten around to see the film yet.
It's a great film, though it's extremely narrow in scope compared to the book; it just covers the very end.
