Managed to get another batch in before the reveal. Authors of stories S-Z, rest assured that I'll read your stories too - I'll just be denied the opportunity to guess who's behind your words.

The stories are fewer this time, so I haven't singled any out. The way I figured, half of the fandoms will be unknown to most of the readers anyway.

Victory, Heroes
Heroes lends itself very well to tragic stories, and this is a really good example. The world is saved, but at a dire price. Heartbreaking and beautiful.

Something Binds You To Me, Heroes
Peter/Mohinder, and seriously, if this happened on the show I could stop lamenting Mohinder's lack of anything interesting to do right away, because wow. This really worked.

Clarity, Heroes
Claire, being every bit as awesome as on the show. I particularly liked the part of the story where she meets up with Matt and Audrey.

Feeling Blue, Hilary McKay - The Casson Family series
The author gets it right all the way, from the colour in the title to all the characterisations. Nice, understated Indigo/Tom slash included.

Every Day Feels Like Sunday, Jake 2.0
The story written for me, and I love it to pieces. Diane POV after things have gone horribly wrong. Reminds me over and over again why I love this girl.

Useful Things, Judging Amy
How Amy deals with feeling tired and used up. Great story with some very nice Amy and Maxine moments.

The Knowledge, the Truth and the Love, Lloyd Alexander - Chronicles of Prydain
Gwydion and Achren, in a story that shows a new and most interesting angle to the books. Very well written, and makes me want to re-read the books from this perspective, to see what I will find.

a (most dreadfully) involuntary sin, LM Montgomery - Anne of Green Gables series
Diana POV, showing the good and bad sides of her friendship with Anne. Very touching and believable.

These Diverging Dreams, LM Montgomery - Emily series
Dean Priest takes it upon him to talk with Mrs. Kent. Most of my reactions to this were very monosyllabic: "Oh!" "Ouch!" "Wow..." Bittersweet and beautiful.

the hours between dawn and nothing, MASH
BJ after the war. Gorgeous, melancholy story with great perspectives on the MASH characters and a future for them that's not easy or pain-free, but still rather hopeful.

With Tremulous Cadence, Mirrormask
This story reminded me both that Mirrormask should have a major fandom, and why that will never happen - it's too good for most ficcers to handle. Not this anonymous person, though; the story of Helena and UnValentine (AKA Kevin) fits perfectly after the film and is a joy to read.

Dream and Memory, Noel Streatfeild - Ballet Shoes
This story made me feel with Winifred so much it almost hurt. It did a wonderful job of showing her heart and her feelings for Pauline.

In Which Some Spells Are Broken and Another Is Cast, Patricia C Wrede - Enchanted Forest Chronicles
Funny and sweet and just right. How could I possibly not love a story that includes the line: I half expected her fur to burst into flame, but it didn't. That was a relief. A malevolent, angry hamster is unnerving enough; a malevolent, angry hamster on fire would be more than I could deal with just then.

Perfect, The Princess Bride
Short and fabulous, fitting a wonderful piece of Inigo/Westley into very few words.

All Good Naysayers, Speak Up! Or Forever Hold Your Peace!, Questionable Content
Just like the comic, this story was funny, irreverent, occasionally poignant, and a joy to read.
