In all seriousness, my vote went to 'yes' just because, if he was lying on his front, then there wouldn't have been any space on his front for the fire to breathe, so I don't think anything pressed to the ground would have caught fire. I suppose it depends on how close the boys were to his body at the time, though. :-P
