Weird pic of the day: Suddenly he was feeling a bit unwell...I have spent most of the weekend sleeping, since I was up late at the Queer Party Friday and had a bit to drink. The first two hours of the party, I was working in the wardrobe section with a German exchange student. Not to many people came to hang up their coats, so we were bored. Thus

The web hatred for Wes was quite astounding in its day - I remember seeing him on Buffy for the first time after being thoroughly spoiled and going, "But he's *funny*!" And I dug up the dart board - it's still around. Look here!

And Giles is way sexy. ;-)

I don't know if the rumours about Glenn Quinn are true or not. It's true he had an addiction, and that he tried to kick it on a couple of occasions. (As I understand it, the reason he OD-ed was that he'd been clean for a while and didn't realize his body wasn't used to that much drugs anymore. But this, too, is just a rumour.) Roseanne said about him that "He hated being alive," and "He could make everyone laugh but himself," which is a pretty tragic eulogy. Of course, that's just her personal interpretation.

So I don't know why they made him left, but re-watching the show now I think it was probably a good decision in terms of story - for as long as he was around, he and Cordelia upstaged Angel pretty much all the time. After he left, Cordelia got a more subdued role, and Angel remained in center stage pretty much up to the Wes/Lilah storyline.
