Amazon.com sells Firefly and Dead Like Me together for 80 bucks. Wah! Must not give in to urges to buy things like that when I still need things like household appliances and a new bookshelf. Wah!

Miranda Cosgrove was in the Jack Black comedy "School of Rock" and played Summer, a precocious kid who was a mix between Hermione Granger and Margaret Thatcher. Black's character said that Summer would be the first woman president of the US, and that he would vote for her even if she ran next term. So would I. :-)

A couple of years ago, rhiannonjk gave me two things for Christmas: a cardboard Cyclops figure, and a pink feather boa. He's been wearing it ever since. It's only recently that I've been able to make a pic and put it online.
Back when I got the present, I also made a fluffy little filk about it, if you're interested.

It's one of my very early ones, part of the Sunset Boulevard set. I still think it looks fairly cool, though if I made it today I'd probably try to match the shades of blue a bit better.

Yeah. The curious thing is that two of the ones of yours that I like are for fandoms I'm not even that into personally, 'cause that LoTR one cracks me up as well.
